A 1,200-ft drill program is planned to evaluate the vein system on

Rock Mines’ claims in the southeast corner of Grenfell Twp. in the Kirkland Lake area of Ontario. The company says gold was first discovered on the property in 1917 and over the years various work was completed, including the sinking of a 500-ft shaft and more than 5,000 ft of drifting and crosscutting. At the end of the nine months ended Sept 30, the company had working funds of $30,714.
