50 YEARS AGO — May 1937 — Ore Reserves at Record High

Ore reserves at the Bralorne mine are now greater than ever before, shareholders were informed at the annual meeting, April 29, by managing director R. Bosustow. Exact figures were not given, but it was stated that considerable tonnages had been added since the first of January. At that time the estimate was 505,000 tons of an average grade of 0.45 oz gold per ton. Reprinted from The Northern Miner, May 1937.
