50 Years Ago FEBRUARY, 1939 SHAFT WORK AT JEROME

R. V. Porritt, assistant general manager of Noranda Mines, addressing the Toronto branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, recently disclosed interesting details of the methods and results of stoping with long drill holes. He referred to both the use of rock drills using sectional steel and the employment of diamond drills.
