50 Years Ago FEBRUARY, 1938 MINISTER SCOTCHES NICKEL RUMORS

Canada has no intention of placing an embargo on exports of nickel to foreign countries either engaged in war or in re-armament activities, says W. D. Euler, minister of trade and commerce. Mr Euler delivered a lengthy address last week in the House of Commons, outlining Canada’s official position regarding metal exports. Reprinted from The Northern Miner, February, 1938.
