50 YEARS AGO –FEBRUARY, 1937– RICH ORE AT LITTLE LONG LAC’S LOW

Winding up the year 1936 with great improvement in all departments, Little Long Lac Gold Mines appears destined to achieve new record heights this year, The Northern Miner can say after visiting the property.

Ore reserves are up 25% from a year ago, now approximating 400,000 tons of half-ounce grade.

Orders have been given for new equipment to be installed this spring to bring mill capacity up to 300 tons daily from the current rate of 250 tons per day.
