Following a visit to the property The Northern Miner finds the question of pr obable grade of mill feed for the new 500-ton milling unit at Algoma Summit Gold Mines still unanswered.
A 75-ton test mill has been operated and some few results are available for grade in certain sections, but it is apparent that mill construction wa s undertake n on assumption rather than on a determination of the facts by careful systemati c and scientific procedure to ascertain average grade.
