$18.9 million for Lithoprobe

Federal government support for the project Lithoprobe will increase by 50%, bringing the amount to $18.9 million over the next three years. Lithoprobe is the largest multidisciplinary study of the earth’s crust in Canada. The ongoing project involves more than 300 scientists from universities, federal and provincial geological surveys, and the petroleum and mining industries.
