$1.1 million targetted on Mets in Toodoggone

An exploration budget in excess of $1.4 million is being evaluated by Golden Rule Resources and Manson Creek Resources for the Toodoggone area of north-central B.C., says Manson Creek President Glen H. Harper.

Approximately $1.1 million will be directed to the Mets gold project. An initial 10,000 ft diamond drill contract is being tendered now to further delineate the gold mineralization in the A zone.

Drilling last year outlined 92,000 tons grading 0.33 oz gold per ton on the A zone last year. The structure hosting the A zone extends for several thousand metres along strike, says Mr Harper.

A second drill right will probably be contracted to drill test several other structures on the Mets property as well as evaluating many other gold targets established on other properties in the Toodoggone by Golden Rule and Manson Creek, says Mr Harper.

The Mets property is owned 50% by Manson Creek and 50% by Golden Rule.

Golden Rule owns 2,873,000 shares or 65% of Manson Creek and thus has a 83% direct and indirect interest in the project.

Golden Rule has subscribed for an additional $544,000 private placement of common shares of Manson Creek, wherein Manson Creek will issue up to 800,000 shares to Golden Rule on a flow-through basis. Golden Rule will receive one common share for each 68 cents of qualified exploration expenditures it funds.

Upon completion of this commitment, Golden Rule will own 3,673,000 shares of Manson Creek.
