Li-FT Power (CSE: LIFT; US-OTC: LIFFF) CEO Francis MacDonald says the Northwest Territories and Quebec are great areas for lithium projects.
“Finding lithium resources anywhere in the world is going to be valuable, but Canada as a jurisdiction makes all the difference,” MacDonald said during the recent Canadian Mining Symposium in London.
Li-FT’s main lithium project, near Yellowknife, includes leases for most lithium-rich rocks in the pegmatite region. Many lithium-containing structures, up to 1,800 meters long and 37 meters wide, are easily visible from satellite images within the project area.
MacDonald also mentioned the Cali project in the territory and three promising exploration sites in Quebec during the conversation with Chris Hinde, author of Pick & Pen. They’re all in areas known for lithium mineralization.
