Archer Exploration (CSE: RCHR; US-OTC: RCHRF) has carved a niche in nickel-copper-cobalt-platinum group metals with a diverse range of assets anchored by the Grasset project in Quebec.
The project in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt holds an indicated resource of 5.5 million tonnes grading 1.53% nickel-equivalent for 84.2 million tonnes of metal.
Chris Hinde, author of industry newsletter Pick & Pen, met with Tom Meyer, CEO of Archer Exploration, at the Canadian Mining Symposium in London this October. Their chat examined Archer’s activities in nickel sulphide exploration in Quebec and Ontario, including the junior’s notable presence in the Sudbury nickel camp.
The company’s Sudbury nickel assets cover 310 sq. km including 37 properties, all chosen for their geological attributes and proximity to established mines. Sites such as Parkin and Wisner make Archer the third-largest landholder within the Sudbury mining territory.
