The Northern Miner’s Staff Writer Blair McBride interviews George Hemingway, managing partner at New York-based consultant Stratalis, during the Global Mining Symposium in Toronto on May 25.

Hemingway focuses on the importance of purpose for a company and its employees. That’s ripe these days as the mining industry attempts to transform itself and overcome widely-held attitudes in society.

Asking ‘why you do what you do’ should be done from the CEO to the supply chain. He says it can unlock purpose, a deeply personal standpoint, without the help of external consultants.
