O3 Mining (TSXV: OIII; US-OTC: OIIIF) sees potential development of its Marban Alliance project in Quebec with Canada’s largest mine by output, the nearby Canadian Malartic run by Agnico Eagle Mines (TSX: AEM; NYSE: AEM).
An agreement with Agnico would allow Marban Alliance to be developed with smaller capital costs and environmental impact than envisioned in a prefeasibility study released last year, CFO Elijah Tyshynski says in a new video from the recent Canadian Mining Symposium in London.
O3 added 340,000 oz. to the project in a resource update in June and is working on how a feasibility study would sequence production, Tyshynski says in a chat with Alisha Hiyate, editor-in-chief of The Northern Miner.
