Staff writer Lesley Stokes sits down with filmmaker Nettie Wild for a chat about her award-winning “cinematic celebration of northwestern British Columbia,” KONELĪNE: our land beautiful.

The Northern Miner is proud to be a co-presenter of the upcoming Vancouver screening of the film, which has its commercial premiere on Oct. 28, 2016, at the Vancity Theatre at 1181 Seymour St. in Vancouver, and runs until Nov. 10 with daily screenings. Please visit https://viff.org for showtimes and tickets.

In this sneak preview Lesley and Nettie discuss the impact of the film, and how the beauty of the wilderness and landscape can unite people. Nettie tells the story of Harvey Tremblay and the Hy-Tech Drilling team allowing her film crew access to Pretium Resources’ (TSX: PVG; NYSE: PVG) Brucejack gold mine development, 65 km northwest of Stewart, British Columbia.
