VPDAC (January 26, 2009)

The biggest enemy visitors to the PDAC face is time. There simply isn’t enough of it to cover this huge event. And that is where Virtual PDAC comes in.

“Finding exhibitors, looking up conference items, remembering meetings and seminar attendance are just some of the things we are try to keep track of when attending PDAC each year. With so many potential people and companies to meet, planning, research and comfy shoes are essential!” says Gareth Hector, Virtual PDAC.

Virtual PDAC is a website from the publishers of Mining Journal and PDAC that brings all of these planning elements together in one site designed specifically for the purpose.

At www.virtual-pdac.comusers

are able to locate and research exhibitors and delegates based on multiple search options such as: country, commodity, market cap and company title, to name a few.

Exhibitors and delegates also have the option to complete company and personal profiles to inform users of their activities, interests and key contacts.

In addition to these search tools, users of this year’s Virtual PDAC site are for the first time able to review all conference and seminar sessions by date, room and speaker, and then create their own bespoke event diary, based around attending important sessions and meetings created with exhibitors through their exhibitor profiles.

‘My Plan’ as it is named, is a personal area within Virtual PDAC where users can manage their event diary, view all session information, build contact lists of companies and individuals and even send secure private messages.

Virtual PDAC is live right now and stays online for an entire 12- months ensuring that all your planning, information and reference are still there well after each show.

For Virtual PDAC 2009, there is the facility for non-attending companies to still participate in Virtual PDAC through a special ‘virtual only’ floor. So even if you are one of the unlucky companies unable to get floor space, you can still have a significant involvement online.

If you would like more information on Virtual PDAC or any Virtual Exhibition ( www.virtual-exhibition.com),or are an exhibitor and have not yet purchased a Virtual PDAC Exhibitor Profile, please contact Gareth Hector at gareth.hector@virtual-exhibition.com
