Ecuador-focused company Aurelian Resources (ARU-T, AUREF-O) has announced a joint venture between mine contractors Redpath Group and Jose Cartellone Construcciones Civiles will provide construction planning for the resource company’s Fruta del Norte gold-silver project.
The Redpath/Cartellone joint venture adds to Aurelian’s growing list of consultants working on various aspects of development planning including: Golder Associates for environmental, tailings and paste backfill planning; Ingetec for power supply alternatives and renewable energy; Alquimia for plant and surface facility design; Jawmetc for metallurgy, flow sheet and process design; Micon International for assembly, oversight and review of the various contributions to the study; and P&E Mining Consultants for mine design and production planning.
Both companies, North Bay, Ont.- based Redpath and Mendoza, Argentina- based Cartellone, have experience working in Ecuador.
