Mine financier Robert Hunter is getting into the diamond exploration business. As president of Lumina Investment (VSE), Hunter is overseeing the assemblage of a “significant” property portfolio in both the Northwest Territories and Western Canada.
The junior intends to conduct exploration for both diamonds and gold during this year’s exploration season. In addition to its 400,000 acres in the Lac de Gras area, Lumina teamed up with another party and applied for permits to conduct exploration on 884,103 acres in the Northwest Territories.
