Aurizon drilling Bruneau prospect

A 6,000-ft. drill program is under way on the Bruneau gold property, 31 miles southeast of Matagami, Que., reports Aurizon Mines (TSE).

Soquem, which is testing geophysical anomalies associated with the Cameron deformation zone, has an option to earn a 50% interest by spending $250,000. When the program is completed, Aurizon will move the drill to the Diamine property, nine miles southwest, where two holes will sample circular magnetic targets thought to represent kimberlites.
