Goldbank gold assays

Anomalous surface assay results have been reported by Goldbank Ventures (ASE) from the Hayes gold showing on the company’s 100% owned Bon property on Vancouver Island, about 15 miles northwest of Nanaimo, B.C. Recent grab samples in a trench measuring 3×30 ft. have yielded assays up to 1.25 oz. gold per ton, while an 11-ft. channel sample returned a value of 0.18 oz., including 4 ft. of 0.45 oz.

According to Goldbank, the mineralization consists of at least six narrow gold-bearing pyritic veins within an altered and silicified host rock. The gold values are associated with a north-south trending fault which cuts a shallowly dipping andesite tuff horizon. More work is planned this summer to investigate the zone along strike.
