Letters to the Editor Noranda doesn’t own 100% of Kidd Creek

In your article “Kidd Creek back to running order after Jan. 3 fire” (T.N.M., Jan. 22/90), you state that Kidd Creek is owned by Noranda. I noted that in a recent letter to the editor a reader caught a mistake in the ownership of the O’Brien property. This week, I would like to point out that Noranda and Trelleborg jointly own Kidd Creek.

I don’t think Noranda owns 100% of Kidd Creek yet. Was this just an editorial slip, wishful thinking or a prophecy? Have you been keeping interesting news away from us? Joan Fiset Toronto, Ont.
