Forbex to drill Poirier

A budget of $150,000 will fund data compilation and some drilling, Forbex says. Most of the drilling will test the Q zone which hosts proven and probable reserves of 585,701 tonnes grading 10.6% zinc. An additional 514,750 tonnes grades 2.45% copper per ton.

The drill program will test for extensions of the mineralization to surface. Forbex also plans to conduct a small exploration program on the central Duparquet property, also in Quebec. Reserves are estimated at 567,000 tonnes grading 5.1 g gold per tonne (0.148 oz gold per ton).
