Additional drilling results have been reported by Mimiska Mining (ME) from its wholly-owned Fern Elizabeth gold property in northwestern Quebec.
The company says the latest results confirm the continuity at depth of numerous old structures which are close together and accessible from surface. An underground decline to gain access to these zones has been proposed.
Elizabeth vein 1, with visible gold in some holes, returned 4.9 ft of 0.92 oz gold per ton from hole FE24, 9 ft of 0.31 oz from hole FE57 and 3.8 ft of 0.5 oz from hole FE 71.
Elizabeth vein 2 returned 3 ft of 0.2 oz and 4 ft of 0.2 oz from hole FE52, and 2.4 ft of 0.5 oz from hole FE76.
Drilling on the Grizzly vein cut 0.4 ft of 5.6 oz from hole FE60, 0.2 ft of 4.6 oz from hole FE65 and 0.2 ft of 12.2 oz from hole FE72.
The company says new structures have been discovered, including Elizabeth vein 6 and the S and Bunkhouse veins. The Bernie- Mitch vein, 200 ft in surface length, will undergo underground development.
