Canadian postal dispute (October 05, 1987)

A dispute in the Canadian postal service could disrupt mail service due to rotating strikes throughout the country.

Subscribers in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver may obtain their copies of The Northern Miner at our offices in those cities. Montreal subscribers should telephone the office first (844-6991).

We will also place extra copies on those Canadian newsstands which normally sell the paper.

Should a complete shutdown of the post office occur, subscribers’ copies will be stored and mailed as soon as service is resumed.
