X-Cal doubles strike

Drilling by X-Cal Resources on the company’s Snowbird gold property near Fort St. James, B.C., has doubled the strike length of the main gold mineralized zone to more than 4,000 ft.

The additional strike comes from a new zone which was discovered striking along the main zone. Discovery drill hole 88-6 cut a 10-ft intersection grading 0.21 oz gold per ton. This hole was drilled 200 ft below another hole which assayed 0.4 oz across 5 ft. Another hole, 88-15, has been drilled to 600 ft where it showed the main zone to be strong and persistent. The core is mineralized and has been sent for assay.
