50 Years Ago January, 1938 RYAN BROTHERS MAKE FINE DEAL

The unusually high grade character of the gold ore disclosed on the Ryan Gold Mines property on the Yellowknife River in the Northwest Territories is indicated by the deal which was made between the owners, Ryan Gold Mines and Consolidated Mining & Smelting Co.

Following remarkable disclosures by Tom Payne, the discoverer, Smelters was interested. A new company with $1 million in shares of $1 par, is to be formed, with the vendors receiving a 40% interest and $500,000 in cash.
