Holmer drilling at Tashota bet

Drilling is under way on Alberta- listed Homer Gold Mines’ 100%- owned Tashota property north of Geraldton, Ont., reports President K. Sethu Raman.

The first drill hole tested anomaly No 16 with a known strike length of at least 5,000 ft, says Dr Raman. Preliminary field results indicate disseminated pyrite, pyrrhotite and minor chalcopyrite mineralization in brecciated chert bands up to 11 ft wide. Drill core is being split for assay, with results expected in a couple of weeks.

The company recently acquired a 100% interest in 21 claims contiguous to its Tashota property.
