The new president of the Association of Professional Geologists and Geophysicists of Quebec (apggq) is France Goupil. An engineer and geophysicist, Goupil won the Dominique-Rollin Award of Excellence in 1986. The other members of the new apggq board of directors are Marcel Vallee, vice-president; Aime Bensoussan, secretary; Ronald Du Temple, treasurer; and Andre Liboiron, registrar. The six elected directors are: Claude Champagne, Jean-Raymond Frederic, Maxime Leduc, Gerald LeFrancois, Raymond Legault and Michel Rocheleau.
