Toronto-based Altai Resources (TSE) has added another gold project to its Philippine portfolio.
The junior acquired the Bulan project, comprising 3,285 hectares in the province of Sorsogon, southern Luzon.
The claim groups covers a volcanic dome complex with three previously identified soil gold anomalies.
The anomalies are adjacent to an area measuring 400 metres by 1 km, where the majority of 55 rock-chip samples collected from outcrops and float had elevated gold content ranging up to 1.4 grams per tonne.
Altai is spending $500,000 in an exploration program consisting of trenching, pitting, drilling and geophysics.
