Eastern follows up geochemical anomaly

Follow-up work is under way at the Shamrock property in Newfoundland, where Eastern Goldfields (COATS) has outlined a geochemical gold anomaly. Eastern is completing a program of trenching and sampling on the property in an attempt to locate the source of the anomaly. To date, more than 4,000 grains of gold, ranging in size from 0.006 to five millimetres, have been recovered from soil samples.

The company says it is awaiting analytical results.
