Eastmaque drilling encouraging

Recent drilling on the Oro Cruz property is returning encouraging results. The project is a joint venture between Eastmaque Gold Mines (TSE), which holds a 44% interest, and Morrison-Knudsen (NYSE), which holds the balance. The property is adjacent to the companies’ American Girl Mining joint venture in Imperial Cty., Calif. The drilling indicates a possible mineralized extension of two areas, the Cross, and the Queen.

A stepout hole in the Cross area intersected 65 ft. grading 0.052 oz. gold per ton, adding to the potential of the present reserve of 1.7 million tons grading 0.089 oz.

The first reconnaissance hole in the Queen area, 800 ft. to the north of the Cross, intersected 55 ft. grading 0.058 oz. gold.

Further drilling in both areas is planned.
