Junior producer Inland Gold and Silver (NASDAQ) reported a net loss of US$95,356 from sales of US$846,500 for its 1991 second quarter, compared with net income of US$80,484 from gold sales of US$848,000 for the same period in 1990.
The second-quarter loss, which was attributed to higher production costs, brings the company’s net loss for the 1991 first half to US$62,266. Inland’s key asset is the 34,00-acre Toiyabe property in Nevada which has produced about 80,000 oz. gold to date. Production is ongoing at Toiyabe, and the company is also involved in a number of exploration projects in the western U.S.
