The proceedings of CAME’90, a 2-day meeting on computer applications in mineral exploration held recently in Toronto, are now available. Noteworthy are the dos and don’ts for each step of the exploration process that involves computers. The papers presented at the conference cover geophysics, geochemistry, remote sensing, drill-hole data handling, ore reserve estimate, mine planning and mine design.
