COATS Trading Features (April 17, 1989)

Almost out of nowhere, Hubert Lake Ungava Nickel Mines traded up to 50 cents on moderate volume before falling off to the 30 cents -40 cents range. Hubert Lake had previously been dormant at the 10 cents -15 cents range.

Gold Bar Resources and Canadian Gold Resources have started a 30,000-ft diamond drilling program on their Chester Twp., gold property west of Shining Tree, Ont. The two companies have also acquired a copper-nickel property in a remote area north of Lansdowne House, Ont. Canadian Gold traded at 35 cents -40 cents on a volume of more than 160,000 shares.

Also holding property in Chester Twp., is Young Shannon Mines which moved up to 80 cents -$1.00.

Porcupine Balmoral Resources, which owns a gold property in Adams Twp., 9 miles south of Timmins, Ont., saw more than 40,000 of its shares traded at 40 cents -50 cents this week.
