Ennex developing Scottish gold mine

Broker James Capel recently reported Ennex International is exploring the Cononish property at Crianlarach, 60 miles northwest of Glasgow, and to date has defined a geological reserve of 925,000 tons averaging 0.28 oz gold per ton. The mineralization also contains silver and the deposit is open at depth.

Work under way at the site includes the driving of an adit about 600 ft in length on the other side of the mountain from the main deposit. Production could commence during the first quarter of 1990.

Planned is a 300-350-ton-per-day mill which would yield 30,000 oz gold per year. Estimated cash production cost is $180(US) per oz.

Ennex is associated with the Northgate-Westfield group of companies in North America.
