OMA elects new chairman

Rickaby succeeds John Gordon, vice-president of Noranda Minerals who served as OMA chairman for the past two years.

Following the meeting, the OMA hosted a dinner in the Royal York Ballroom. Guest speaker was the Honourable Robert Nixon, deputy premier and treasurer of Ontario, who spoke on the importance of the mining industry to the province’s economy.
