Geraldton pleased with trench results

Trenching by Geraldton Longlac Gold Mines (COATS) has produced encouraging gold values. A mineralized zone was trenched along 80 ft of strike yielding assays up to 0.24 oz gold per ton across 6.5 ft.

Another outcrop of vein material, located 150 ft to the northeast, assayed 0.25 oz across 5.4 ft.

A track-mounted backhoe is being moved onto the property. Also, a 5,000-ft diamond drill program is expected to begin shortly. The company’s claims are located near Geraldton, Ont.
