MSV, Placer pull rich core sample

Results from a drill hole on the Eastmain gold project in northern Quebec have management at MSV Resources (ME) and Placer Dome (TSE) smiling.

Assays from hole 332-45 over a 32.6-ft length revealed an average grade of 2.04 oz gold per ton. Within the core segment, there was 1.5 ft of 29.08 oz, 1.2 ft of 4.55 oz, 3.28 ft of 4.26 oz, 1.9 ft of 1.05 oz and 1.3 ft of 0.89 oz.

The hole was part of a winter drilling program carried out on the B-1 and B-2 zones of the property.

MSV is earning a 49% interest in the project. The companies last reported reserves of one million tons grading 0.45 oz.
