Dutch Creek core returns gold values

Some encouraging gold intersections have been returned from Dutch Creek Resources’ (VSE) Wisconsin property near Nelson, B.C. The company says that recent exploration work “encountered at depth the widest ore intersections known to date within the Wisconsin main zone.”

Among the wider drill intercepts reported were: 27 ft of 0.19 oz gold and 0.9 oz silver (including 9.2 ft of 0.34 oz gold and 2.3 oz silver); and 17.8 ft grading 0.1 oz gold and 0.28 oz silver including 3 ft of 0.15 oz gold and 0.5 oz silver.

Poor ground conditions have caused some core losses and not all core has been analyzed. The drill program has been expanded from 5,000 to 15,000 ft and drill pads are being constructed for this work. Negotiations are under way for a $1-$2 million financing from a private investor.
