Opawica sues Falconbridge over Lac Shortt mine

Opawica Explorations has issued a statement of claim in the Supreme Court of Ontario against Falconbridge Ltd. and Minnova Inc. claiming, among other things, an accounting, damages and the reconveyance of the Lac Shortt gold mine property in northwestern Quebec previously owned by Opawica. The action arises out of alleged breaches of an agreement entered into by Opawica and Falconbridge in 1979.
