Employees end strike at Lac mine

Hourly employees at Lac Minerals’ Bousquet mine near Malartic, Que., have voted 80% in favour of accepting a new three-year collective agreement, the company said recently. The 262 employees represented by the United Steelworkers of America, Local 4796, are back at work following a 32-day strike.
