Aber, Hemisphere drill rich sulphides

Partners Aber Resources and Hemisphere Development could have their teeth into an important base and precious metals deposit in the Northwest Territories. Shared equally between both companies, the Sunrise Lake property is located 70 miles northeast of Yellowknife.

Hole 16 which was completed on the discovery zone, intersected 86 ft of mineralization of which 40 ft consisted of massive sulphides. A visual examination of the core by company geologists concluded that the core was similar to that cut in hole 3. That hole intersected 15.8% combined zinc-lead and 18.4 oz silver per ton in a 24.9-ft section.

Hole 16 was drilled 400 ft down- dip of hole 3 and is the deepest such hole to date. True widths are 90% of core sections, the companies say.
