Net income of $4.8 million (59 cents per share) for the first nine months of 1987 has been reported by Sigma Mines (Quebec), compared with $4.97 million (42 cents per share) for the same period last year. Revenues during the nine months totalled $31.4 million compared with $27.4 million last year.
Gold production to the end of Sept 30 this year amounted to 47,933 oz; during the third quarter, gold production totalled 13,999 oz.
Net income during the third quarter was $1.6 million (19 cents per share) compared with $753,000 (9 cents per share) for the same period last year. Revenues during the quarter were $9.8 million compared with $8.7 million in 1986.
