Drilling has resumed at the Debbie property on Vancouver Island, a joint venture between Westmin Resources (the operator), Nexus Resource Corp. and Angle Resources. The initial joint venture budget for 1987 is $2.2 million and the program will include approximately 50,000 ft of drilling on the three zones outlined previously.
Two drills have been set up to test the 900 zone where an intersection of 44.3 ft grading 1.1 oz gold per ton was returned last year. The Mineral Creek zone returned 13.7 ft of 0.246 oz gold and the Linda 9.8 ft of 0.578 oz. Westmin has a 50% interest in the project with Nexus and Angle each holding 25%.
