Major General tests targets

Having outlined two anomalies during a geophysical program, Major General Resources (MGJ-V) is preparing to carry out trenching and drilling on its Spider Lake base metal project near Schreiber, Ont.

The anomalies are associated with the Starhill and Prairie West base metal occurrences, where previous sampling returned encouraging values of zinc, copper, lead, silver and gold. The volcanic host rocks are geologically similar to those that host the Winston Lake volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit, 50 km to the northwest.

A previously announced offering of 2.4 million units of Major General has been re-priced to 20 cents per unit. The offering is expected to raise $480,000 in proceeds.

Each unit will consist of one share and one warrant. Two warrants will allow for the purchase of an additional share at 22 cents for one year.
