DIAMOND PAGE — Bulk sampling planned

Positive results from a sampling program have prompted the Australian partner of Consolidated Trillion Resources (TLQ-T) and Nickelodeon Minerals (NKM-V) to carry out a 500-tonne bulk-sampling program at their diamond exploration project in Zimbabwe.

The recent sampling program by Cratonic N.L. yielded four small diamonds from the initial loam sampling, and 23 diamonds from followup trenching and sampling (all from the 0.5-to-1-mm screened fraction). A 2-by-4-mm

diamond was recovered from limited testing of the coarser trench material, along with indicator minerals. Subsequent to these sampling and trenching programs, Cratonic carried out a 13-hole program of percussion drilling. Five diamonds of between 1.5 and 3 mm were obtained from the drill samples.

Cratonic can earn a 51% interest in the diamond project by spending $200,000 on exploration by mid-October 2001, and a further 29% by funding a feasibility study.
