TNK adds ground in Botswana

Toronto-based TNK Resources (TNKR-C) has secured a 3-year prospecting licence contiguous to its Gope diamond prospect in Botswana. The ground was relinquished by De Beers Consolidated Mines (DBRS-Q) in order to comply with the country’s mining laws.

TNK has reported the discovery of four diamondiferous kimberlite pipes on the Gope prospect. These pipes are now being tested in a mini-bulk-sampling program in partnership with De Beers.

TNK intends to carry out an exploration program of soil sampling and geophysics on its newly acquired ground.
