Nevada Pacific options Pat Canyon

Vancouver — Nevada Pacific Gold (NPG-V) is gearing up to explore its newly acquired Pat Canyon property, adjacent to the past-producing Tonkin Springs gold mine in Nevada’s Eureka Cty.

The company secured a 10-year mining lease, with the property owner retaining a 3-to-4% sliding-scale gross production royalty. Pat Canyon is on the Cortez gold trend, about 3 miles east of the company’s Keystone gold project.

Nevada Pacific believes the property has potential to host gold deposits in altered upper-plate sediments similar to Tonkin Springs, and in lower-plate carbonate rocks similar to those hosting the Cortez Hills/Pediment gold deposits being advanced by Placer Dome (PDG-T).
