Aronos options old Mexican mine

A deal has been signed enabling Aronos Multinational (CDN) to acquire three claims in Mexico’s Sonora state.

The vendor will retain a 2% net smelter return royalty. The 448-hectare property, known as El Pajaros, hosts a

gold-and-silver-bearing, quartz-filled shear zone which was discovered and worked by Spanish colonists. The zone is 2 metres wide and remains open along strike and at depth.

Old workings, in the form of pits and benches, are visible along a 300-metre section, and mining ultimately reached a depth of 80 metres. Samples from these workings have assayed up to 214 grams gold and 65 grams silver per tonne.

Aronos will soon begin a 9-tonne-per-day mining test, concurrent with a diamond drill program.
