Located 28 miles north of La Ronge, Sask., the property has already yielded a number of significant gold intersections, including 19 ft of grade 0.46 oz gold per ton.
Other highlights include 51 ft of grade 0.37 oz gold, 39 ft of 0.32 oz, 75 ft of 0.24 oz, 8 ft of grade 0.74 oz and 6.6 ft of 0.60 oz.
A second drill has been brought on site.
According to Windarra President Ronald Philip, the Bakos zone has been tested along an 2,624.8 ft strike length and to a maximum depth of 656 ft. It remains open along strike and to depth.
Recently, space between drill holes has been reduced to 164-328 ft from the previous 328-656 ft.
“Preliminary interpretation has indicated good continuity to the Main zone with multiple intersections encountered in several holes,” said Philip.
As reported (N.M., April 10/89), geological reserves of 544,200 tons grading 0.36 oz gold have been outlined in the Pap SW zone on the same property.
