A detailed map of unpatented lode mining claim locations in Nevada — said to be the first of its kind — has been published in the U.S.
The map, published by D. K. Marjaniemi & Associates, locates 1,792 properties or claim groups of 1,163 different owners, each with at least 20 total lode claims in the state.
A 144-page computer-generated report serves as an index to the map, and provides added information on the claim groups and their owners.
