Underground sampling and drilling on the Dome Mountain property has returned high grade gold values, Teeshin Resources (VSE) reports. Located near Smithers, B.C., the Dome Mountain project is owned by Teeshin, Total Erickson (TSE) and Canadian United Minerals (VSE). Channel sampling completed on the 1,370-ft level included a 9.84-ft section assaying 1.1 oz gold per ton and 3.5 oz silver. Another 16.4-ft wide sample graded 0.99 oz gold and 7.2 oz silver.
The results are expected to lead to an increase in reserves in the Boulder zone. Dynatec Mining, a consulting company, is preparing a reserve estimate for the zone.
A feasibility study is expected to be completed by month-end. Permitting require for mine development is also expected at this time, Teeshin says.
